The island of
Yeero!!! Yeero!!! looks like a white beach with blue water highlights. At least that's what RRBJ thought while standing across the street in the parking lot of Walgreens.
The interior is a dramatic contrast. The compact ten table dining room shimmers with romance. There's even a fireplace. In fact it was so nice we figured there was nothing we could afford on the menu. Wrong. It's the same delicious food as the drive-through
menu only it's served up on real plates and the water comes in stemmed goblets. This local Greek restaurant deserves all six of those exclamation points.
One of Trudeau's first posts on his blog was on this restaurant at 4511 Youree Dr. Also - here's an amusing look by Daddy D (Darrell Rebouche) on what kind of reaction you can expect when you recommend on of the finest local eating establishments around.

Why is it I never think of the great local places to eat when someone asks me where I want to dine? And then along the same line, when I drive by those places I go "wow, why don't we ever eat there?"
I would never plug my blog here but I have started a section called "Good Eats in SB Land." I guess it's my way of reminding myself of all the groovy non chain places we have.

I think you did just plug redriverblogjam. That's okay. We're all in it together. Go eat at Herby K and Cobb's BBQ. Give Swamp Island a try. It has no tradition, but the food is good and they're struggling. Don Juanz is another new place worth trying.
And hey...I've linked to you on my page. Think about returning the favor.
Good eating.
Done. I linked to your blog. And I moved you from contact to friend on my flickr list. And I'm seriously thinking about writing a testimonial for your flickr account.
Next I think we outta saddle up and ride over to Teddy Allen's and tell him he outta link to us.
Well, I've asked. But we're not associated with the paper. That bloglink thing they have going on is intentionally incestuous, I believe. Understandable, though.
Thanks for the kind words about Flickr, too. I've slowed down a little. My muse is on vacation, I think.
Also, thanks for the link to my blog. You need to check it, though. You have two sets of http's....
That's what I for not checking my work. I fixed it. Thanks for the heads up.
Perhaps the paper will change it's policy after we get our own radio morning show if we keep this witty banter up...
It could happen. Bloggers Anonymous
