It might be easier to rent a copy of
The Guardian this week. Maybe but not likely. It was released on DVD last Tuesday and one area movie rental place reports by 2 pm that afternoon all their copies were out the door. Most folks slapping down $4.50 for a two day rental were saying "I'm in this movie."
The Guardian is the feel-good drama about the U.S. Coast Guard that was filmed in Shreveport after Hurricane Katrina forced the production to relocate from New Orleans. It was one of the reasons MovieMaker magazine just rated
Shreveport-Bossier as the sixth-best place to "live, work and make movies" in the U.S.This year's top locations: New York City, Philadelphia, Austin, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Shreveport-Bossier, Memphis, Miami, Portland, and Salt Lake City.
MovieMaker has been rating cities for seven years.

I try and I try, and I'm happy people like it, but I just cannot get into movie worship. Is something wrong with me? Signed -- prefers books.
Cuthulu -- now that's a groovy thought. It would be awesome if SB was ranked one of the top cities in the nation for "bookmaking." And I don't mean self-published stuff. Authors would be strolling our avenues instead of stars. I'd be acting like a big goober if that happened.
P.S. Do you blog? I'd like to read your work.
I'm Kevan. Cuthulu is my google name. I think you've seen my blog: http://homepage.mac.com/cuthulu/blog/blog1.html
Your right. I'm one of your readers. I don't get to listen to your radio program because I work nights.
