Art Sale

Carlin Bradley holds her art work

Looking for an excuse to visit the West Edge Artists' Co-op Gallery at 725 Milam Street? Now's a good time.

Debbie Buchanan Engle says there's a big sale at the co-op, including 50% off all her gender-issues paintings (see example below). You'll also find 50% off all the visual art by the Red River Artists with Disabilities at WEACo (see picture above).

Three new members have just been added to the co-op: Dorothy Kristin Hanna (paintings), Latonia Barto (jewelry), and Mario Villafuerte (photojournalism).

I love Debbie's work. I need to pick some up for myself before I leave town.

You really should acquire some at these terrific prices because so much is happening at the gallery it's just a matter of time before all these groovy artists are discovered (many pieces are being featured in the movies that are being filmed in Shreveport).

One more thing about Debbie's work I just discovered: those pictures glued to her paintings actually are clipped from her grandmother's old sewing patterns. Don't you just love it?

Wait...leaving? You can't leave.
